Policy Statement
The primary objective of senior management is to ensure that a safe and healthy work environment is provided for all employees, to maintain a balance of economic, environmental and social responsibility and to meet our client’s requirements and expectations.
In order to achieve this primary objective, the company has developed and implemented a Management System which meets the requirements of AS 4801:2001, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004.
The application of this system and the procedures outlined in the Safety, Quality and Environmental Manual’s will guarantee client satisfaction and ultimately company prosperity.
To assist us in achieving our objectives we will undertake the following:
- Review and establish plans, procedures and measurable objectives to reflect changes, improvements and ensuring they meet client requirements;
- Pursuing continuous improvement through open reporting, measurement of key indicators against targets, analysis of our safety and environmental performances;
- Conduct a thorough safety and environmental risk assessment on all aspects of our projects;
- Report quarterly on our safety and environmental performance and take remedial action where performance does not meet expectation;
- Encourage ethical safety and environmental practice and behaviour both within the company and with those with whom we work, including respect for culture and community values.
- Providing appropriate induction, education and training for all personnel relevant to their safety, environmental and quality responsibilities and statutory obligations;
- Communicate this policy to all personnel within the company and make this policy available to all interested parties upon request;
- Encourage and be receptive to feedback and communicating openly with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, government, customers and the communities associated with our business;
- Encourage our employees, suppliers and other interested parties to work with us to achieve the objective of this policy.
